About MICF 2019

Malaysia Islamic Children’s Fair (MICF) returns for the ninth consecutive time in November this year. Organized by Zurriyat Ventures Sdn. Bhd., this year’s event promises even more value and benefits for children, parents, educators and fellow stakeholders. The past years’ events were themed: “Transforming Today’s Children into World Leaders” , “Celebrating Diversity” and “Be Each Other’s Strength To Lead The World” respectively.

This year’s event continues with the aim of helping parents and educators to raise our children to be respected Muslim leaders who love and practise the Islamic way of life as prescribed by the Quran and Sunnah. This will be an avenue for parents and educators to gain access to the resources and information that is needed in their quest to educate their children to become the leaders of the ummah.

OUR THEME

With the theme “Transforming Today’s Children into World Leaders”, this year’s event takes us a step further from previous events, by advocating that we share the tools and expertise available to us with all other like-minded parents, educators and stakeholders.

According to our beloved Prophet ﷺ,

“Muslim is a brother to his fellow Muslim; he should not wrong nor harm him but rather support him. Anyone who helps his brother accomplish a need or supports him in times of adversity, Allah the Almighty will soothe him on the Day of Judgment and will grant him peace and safety.” [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]

This shows how strongly the Prophet ﷺ encouraged us to support each other as Muslims.

Muslims make up 64% of the Malaysian population and is projected to increase to 72.4 per cent of Malaysia’s population in 2050. The world Muslim population is expected to make up 30% of the world’s population in 2050, a huge number indeed and our children will be a part of this future generation. Therefore, the necessary steps must be put into place now to ensure that they are ready to face the ever changing and challenging future.
